It blends the vestiges of a former trading port with modern shopping and culture. Sample fresh seafood at Jagalchi Market and enjoy movies and art at BIFF Square and the 40 Steps. The old bookstores of Bosudong Book Street and the traditional food alley of Gukje Market are also charming. Established in 1931 through land reclamation, this area is perfect for a stroll, enjoying the ocean views from Busan Tower and Yongdusan Park. The Bupyeong Kkangtong Night Market is vibrant in the evenings. It's a must-see attraction, offering a glimpse into Busan's history and vitality, and is easily accessible from Nampo Subway Station. Gwangbok-dong, Busan Gwangbok-dong, Jung-gu, Busan, is a commercial hub named after the August 15, 1945 Liberation Day, and is a trendsetting mecca for Busan. Gwangbok-ro Fashion Street is famous for shopping for hanbok (traditional Korean clothing), clothing, and accessories. Connected to Gukje Market, it offers a wealth of food and souvenirs. Known as "Jangsu-tong" (traditional Korean clothing) during the Japanese colonial period, this area boasts a rich cultural heritage, with modern theaters and religious facilities remaining. After exploring the history at the Busan Modern History Museum, we recommend exploring the filming locations of the movie "Ode to My Father." Weekend festivals and street performances add to the vibrant atmosphere. This walking tour, centered around Gwangbok Subway Station, includes Nampo-dong. Bupyeong-dong, Busan Bupyeong-dong, Jung-gu, Busan, is a traditional commercial district named after Saetdi at the mouth of the Bosucheon Stream, and is symbolized by the Bupyeong Kkangtong Market. Established in the 1910s, the market is popular for its night market, with alleys lined with stalls selling jokbal (pig's feet), gopchang (tripe), monkfish stew, and hanbok (traditional Korean clothing). Reborn as a cultural tourism market, it fills the evenings with lights and delicious aromas. Its proximity to Nampo-dong and Gwangbok-dong provides excellent shopping opportunities. Historically, the name Bupyeong-dong, meaning "Busan" (富山) and plains, has driven the commercial development of Jung-gu. It's a haven for local restaurants, perfect for casual dining with family and friends. It's also close to Toseong Subway Station. Jungang-dong, Busan Jungang-dong, Jung-gu, Busan, is a traditional business and financial center near Busan Station, with offices and hotels clustered along Jungang-ro. Relive the shantytown atmosphere at the 40 Steps and Fig Theme Street, and enjoy the historic scenery of Yeongseonsan Mountain. Known as "Saemadang" (New Town) due to land reclamation during the Japanese colonial period, this area's proximity to the sea makes for a charming walking path. Its former glory as the "center" of Busan remains, and modern and contemporary buildings have been preserved intact. We recommend exploring the local cafes and restaurants while enjoying the view of Yeongdo Bridge. A five-minute walk from Jungang Subway Station, it's convenient for business and leisure travelers. (Jeolla Province, Korea) 💖 "Did you like the video?
