Losi Super Baja Rey vs Traxxas X-Maxx Off Road Dune Bashing

The Losi Super Baja Rey 1/6th scale short course truck vs the Traxxas X-maxx 8s off road racing/dune bashing. The Losi started out on 4s before moving onto 6s; the Traxxas stayed on 6s due to not yet having 4s batteries... Back to the video, if you follow our instagram you may recognise that we've been here before, once - a very long time ago. We took the TRX's and the Axial when we came last time; as I'm sure you'll agree from the terrain in this video that was the wrong choice to make... So we were debating for some time as to what trucks to take back here, but having not long trashed the Slash 4x4's at the skate park (found here:    • Traxxas Slash 4x4 VXL skatepark pain  ) we thought we'd give the big beasts some run time again. The Losi wasn't a great drifter like it was in our other video of it (found here:    • X-maxx 8s vs Super Baja Rey racing & offro...  ) although transitioning from wet grass to dry sand we weren't expecting it to be, on the whole it held up well, the suspension looked great over the small bumps in the sand. The only downside here was it drained the batteries ridiculously quick compared to its previous outing. As with the X-Maxx, it was just unstoppable, as usual... The large wheels and high clearance made it just another day at the office and it wasn't once fazed by the ruggedness of the terrain. On the whole, it was good fun racing these trucks and something a little different for you guys; but we think it was the right choice to take these trucks - who knows, maybe we'll revisit with the Slashes at some point.
