I attended a train show recently. Doesn't happen very often... we don't have many here on our little island in the Pacific. But this one was quite respectable, and I picked up some German coaches to go with a DB diesel I already had. Very, very good deal. A viewer commented on an earlier video that it would be interesting to see the consequences of the brewery on my layout being located so close to the Space Time Continuum. After sipping an amber-ish beverage or two, it occurred to me that the new coaches could help tell such a tale, along with my little 0-6-0 shunter and a couple of Class 515 DMUs. (Thanks for planting the seed Frank!) A couple of non-German guest stars appear in this video too, including my good old CN Dash 8, and another newcomer to the layout: BC Rail #643 (a Montreal Locomotive Works M420). It too was a very, very good deal. It earns the distinction of being my first diesel locomotive with ditch lights!
