Recently, Jarreau Vandal released the 13-song mixtape "Anthology", on which we hear a mature sound from the Dutch dj / artist. For the Red Bull Music Uncut sessions he shows his new music live for the first time, smoothly combining two of his tracks together. “The inspiration for this session came from my two singles. I wanted to combine these songs in a live format and see how different I could make them without making them unrecognizable. With this project I feel I show a more mature side of me and introduce a new chapter in my career. The songs "Scintilla" & "Westside" are a good example of that more mature side.” In the 'Red Bull Music - Uncut' series, artists work on a special live version of a track, which they then record in one take. It is a process that reveals new things in a track and the way artists approach the song. “It was a good challenge to do this all in just one take.
