It was an adventure. Despite being quite a repeated word, almost too generic, too easy and almost banal... it sure was. And thence was born this film about Love. Also about how the brain starts to speak back at you. A self-conversation if you will. It is true, that last September I had suffered the biggest loss of Love. Love for everything. Such death takes away your inspirations, motivations, energy, will to continue, or let's say every nice and kind thing out of life. So I moved to a small village in northern Spain, El Entrego, to seek Love in silence, solitude and seclusion. Yet Rumi would say: "Your mission is not to seek Love, it is to seek out all the barriers within yourself that you have built against it". So yes, there will be barriers; be built by capitalism, our dissatisfaction on our job, our location, our age etc. etc. But once you keep fighting your way to find Love again, it's always there, waiting. Human is a beautiful creation, a pinnacle of perfection. But like a pendulum we swing. Always stuck in the battle of between good and evil, falling and rising, losing and winning. We have the capacity to rise to the level of the Angels, but also the ability to fall unimaginably deep. As I go through beautiful valleys, green Asturian mountains, merry rivers I seek Love. Though loss and pain, loneliness and self-isolation, and endless internal battles of hopelessness and demotivation. But I seek. I search. And I continue. This film is about love, self-discovery, self-isolation, inner speech, inner peace, nature, mountains, philosophy, travel, spirituality, religion, solitude, self-reflection and many more things at once. And I hope there's something for everyone to find here.
