In mid-March, I hiked through Miharuyama, a rural mountain that stands on the border between Otsuki City and Uenohara City in Yamanashi Prefecture. I started at Yanagawa Station on the Chuo Line, and after passing Tsunanokami Gozenyama, a low but fairly steep mountain, I had a mountain meal at the summit of Miharuyama. The path from Tsunanokami Gozenyama to the ridge of Miharuyama is a dotted line route, and it is a steep and narrow path, so please walk with care. The area around Miharuyama is a very easy path to walk on, and I would recommend it to anyone. The wide open views towards the Kitatsuru Sanzan and Sasaoone are wonderful. At the summit, I made Fukagawa-style udon.
