The final Live At FortyFive session of the year was from rising blues singer-songwriter, Jack Blackman. The Midlands based guitarist delighted the audience with an hour long set of blues and folk-revival originals and covers to bring a close to our ecclectic year of Live At FortyFive sessions. Jack's set starts with a fantastic instrumental tribute to Bert Jansch, John Renbourn and Davy Graham focusing on the complex fingering reminiscent of the 60s virtuosos. Following it up with a song written on the train to the show, "Cold Trails", and ending on his set with a solo rendition of Springsteen-esq rock ballad "Lucky This Time" which you can find on his YouTube channel performed with his brother, Euan.
