The robot picks the fixture from load station 2 and moves it to the stationary welder. The operator then loads the appropriate part type for the fixture at load station 1 and activates the cycle start button. The robot picks the fixture from load station 1 and moves it to the stationary welder where the robotic automation provides a single weld to multiple points, allowing enough flexibility to accommodate any weld configuration. The welder performs an independent tip dress sequence to ensure the quality of the welds. The process then goes through changeover, places the fixture in an open rack, and retrieves the requested fixture while removing any fixture obstructing the request.
