I just cast out a demon, now what?!

The deliverance movement desperately needs a finished work perspective spoken into it. The enemy goes about seeking whom he can devour, and so as believers we build ourselves in truth of the gospel and the finished work of Christ to safeguard ourselves against his deception. What Jesus accomplished through His death, burial and resurrection serves as an anchor to ground us and keep us steady. There is much debate over whether or not a Christian can have a demon or not, to me it really doesn't matter if it's inside or outside, anyone can find themselves influenced by the demonic. Is deliverance required or always necessary? No, but a person can get immediate relief if they are tormented and demonic influences can be driven away from their life by other believers. Not everything is a demon and not everything is medical/psychological. I hope this video brings clarity because the belief that demons are never involved in the life of a Christian isn't helpful and neither are the legalistic and mystical deliverance practices that are perpetuating cycles of bondage for people.
