Hyderabadi Mutton Biryani is a luxurious blend of tender mutton pieces marinated in a mixture of yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, and an assortment of spices like turmeric, chili powder, and garam masala. The dish features fragrant long-grain Basmati rice layered with the succulent mutton, caramelized onions, fresh mint, and coriander leaves. Saffron-infused milk is generously drizzled over the layers to impart a vibrant hue and subtle aroma. Slow-cooked in a sealed pot (dum), the biryani allows the flavors to meld together perfectly. The final dish is garnished with fried onions, boiled eggs, and served with cooling raita and spicy salan (gravy) on the side, creating a harmonious balance of flavors that tantalize the senses.
