Hertford Classic Bus Running Day 2024

Vintage London Greenline and London Country buses were out in Hertfordshire recreating long gone past routes from Hertford to Buntingford, Knebworth, Broxbourne, Much Hadham and Cuffley. The event organised by Amersham & District Motor Society featured a variety of vehicles from Routemasters, RT's, RF's and Leyland Nationals many of which would have operated in the area. What a superb day this was helped by some decent weather. There was also a programme you could buy to support the event which was very informative giving a history of the old routes and great photos. The action starts at Hertford North where a number of buses can be seen arriving and departing from East Station.which is the main focus of the action. I took a few trips on RF13 and GS 13 to Nup End and Knebworth where the film ends. It was sunny but quite windy at times which I hope will not spoil your enjoyment.
