This video series explores variations in The Caretaker’s tracks slowed down, sped up, or without any speed change, based on my own measuring method. Each piece is adjusted to match the most commonly shared speed value found across his mixes, post-awareness works, and other compilation-style releases. Also including subtle effects like Pitchmap or light reverb for added depth. I determined these values using the speedsheet to find and measure using each individual appearances of the tracks. In cases where there are conflicting speed values, like “Past friends re-united” from A stairway to the stars, which appears twice with no shared speed values. I’ll run a poll to decide which one to feature. Things can change as the discography unravels, but i think it's fine? What is your opinion on this? (Tracks that haven’t been used anywhere to my knowledge aren’t included, but feel free to point out if I’ve missed any.) Next up will be A stairway to the stars!
