Welcome back to Brass Roots | 509. In this episode we explore Dry Falls in Washington State, one of the most incredible and underrated landscapes in the Pacific Northwest. Most people don’t realize you can actually drive to the bottom of Dry Falls, a massive cliff formation that was once one of the largest waterfalls on Earth during the Ice Age Missoula Floods. Standing at the base of these towering walls gives a completely different perspective on the unbelievable power that shaped the Columbia Basin thousands of years ago. Join me as we drive down into the Dry Falls basin, explore the canyon floor, and experience one of Washington’s most unique geological wonders. This adventure was filmed in Grant County / Eastern Washington and is part of a series exploring hidden places, scenic drives, and incredible landscapes across the 509 and the Pacific Northwest. If you enjoy overlanding, Jeep adventures, road trips, and discovering hidden places, consider subscribing and following along as the journey continues. New adventures coming soon.
