Planer and Jointer Cart | One Sheet of Plywood

This planer and jointer cart can be made using one sheet of plywood! Besides gaining valuable shop space with this combined cart, I also gain mobility. This single cart, which has a smaller footprint than the two old stands combined, is on wheels which allows me to move it around as needed. If it is a nice day outside I can open the garage door and shoot the planer ships outside...but if it is a cold winter day I can easily position it inside where the chips will fall on the shop floor. For this build I used plain 3/4" plywood. This gives it plenty of strength and is cheaper than cabinet grade plywood. Honestly, I had planned on using some left over paint from some past projects...but when it came time to paint it I discovered I had already used it on another project. So, I just left it unfinished. I added 6 locking casters I picked up from Harbor Freight. Weight wise 4 would have worked, but I was concerned with the cart bowing in the middle from the weight of the planer and jointer. While this is a basic, and not uncommon, design it will be a great addition to the shop!
