Welcoming our second baby and becoming a family of four. In this emotional family vlog, we share our birth story, the final weeks of waiting, and the last home renovation updates before baby arrived — marking the Season 3 finale of My Tiny Estate. After weeks of stress, sleepless nights, and pregnancy uncertainty, we finally welcome our second child and begin a new chapter as a family of four. This episode captures the final days before baby arrived — full of emotion, quiet preparation, and the reality of balancing family life with a full home renovation. With some pregnancy complications (nothing major, but enough to keep us all on tenterhooks), we made the decision for Borja to fly to Arizona earlier than planned, just in case baby decided to arrive early. That choice allowed him to settle in the US, organise hospital appointments, and prepare for the rest of us — even during moments when an early induction looked possible. Back in England, it was all systems go at the house. From the delivery of a new cot (a handmade replica of Danteo’s), to the final renovation details — new windows fitted, missing doors installed, and the stair balustrade completed after nearly two years of waiting. Once everything was in place, Dean flew to Arizona just in time for the birth. On the 4th of February at 19:10, Baby Ottelo — Otto — arrived. Our incredible surrogate Jacki is a true hero. Just like with Danteo, she chose to give birth without pain relief, and Otto arrived quickly, in a single push. We’re now adjusting to life as a family of four, and surprisingly finding the newborn stage easier than we remembered — especially alongside a very active toddler. This episode marks the end of Season 3. We’re taking a short break from renovation work to soak up these precious early weeks, enjoy family time, and explore Arizona together. We’ll be sharing snippets of our time in Arizona and behind-the-scenes family life over on Patreon.
