After going through chemotherapy and her first stem cell transplant, Michele discovered her acute myeloid leukemia or AML had relapsed and she had developed a genetic mutation FLT3. She was told she should undergo a second stem cell transplant and targeted therapy, called XOSPATA, an oral pill. Michele shares the experience of new treatment, any side effects, and powering through scanxiety as she waited for test and scan results with practices like meditation.
