In addition to the gorgeous river running through town, we have 76 lakes in the area, over 100 miles of hiking trails on Mt Spokane alone and a total of 5 ski resorts within 2 hours of downtown. Reason #2 – Affordability! Spokane is more affordable than the other large towns in the Pacific Northwest. In 2021 in California, San Francisco had a median home value of 1.8 million, and San Diego reached a median of $774,000. Portland, Oregon had a median home value of $536,921. Seattle, Washington reached a median home price of $828,111 and the average home price was over $1 million ($1,055,632 to be exact).
