Let your Art out! Grungy yet bright art journal page

Join me, Tambarambaa as I create in my mini 'Animal themed' Art journal. I love how this journal is coming together, it's full of quirky characters who are bursting to say hi! For this one I created a checkered/tartan style background in all the bright colours ready for this cute little birdy to sit upon. I then grunged it up with loads of stamps and black paint. This is one of my favourite ways to create in my Art journal. I love the contrast of the black against the bold pops of colour. There's something about that combination that makes my heart happy.
