A travelogue of Jutland in July 1962 covering the towns and regions of Aalborg (and the now closed Tivoli), Sonderberg and Vejle. Apart from being interesting for the history, this has two other notable features. 1. it is a seldom seen production by Matthew Nathan films. Matthew Nathan produced over 60 films between 1932 and 1986 generally described by the BFI as Amatuer. The content usually being documentary/travelogues. 2. At about 5.15s there is footage of the RLYC Taurima, a 42ft Yacht that later belonged to Charles Haughey (the Irish Taoiseach) and was to be the subjects of a perilious sinking in September 1985 when Haughey, with his son, left in her for Dublin at night when it hit a rock underneath the Mizen Head Lighthouse, Haughey and son Connor survived the ordeal having spent much of the night in a rubber dinghy in dangerous conditions.
