When we first visited, we were told, "We’re quite busy with regulars, so we can only take new male clients by referral." However, after further discussions with the shop, we were given special permission to shoot the video. Inside the shop, you'll find a variety of memorabilia dedicated to YAZAWA Eikichi, a musician loved by the owner, Mr. Kawasaki. Mr. Kawasaki is a lively and talkative person, and many regulars are drawn to his personality. The clientele is diverse, including artists, diplomats, and athletes, with many of their works and books displayed on the shop’s shelves. Mr. Kawasaki gleamed as he said, "I feel so lucky to be a barber, getting paid while listening to amazing stories!"
