Every shot from my round at Pacific Grove Golf Links, Pacific Grove, Monterey, California USA, on 8th July 2025. All 18 holes around the Poor Man's Pebble Beach! 👉 Many more every shot golf vlogs here • 18 Hole, Every Shot Golf Round Vlogs Certain things stick with you. Memories, experiences, an encounter, many moments. Pacific Grove has a special place in my heart. As a British chap that likes to travel, I first visited here in 2014 on a birdwatching trip to California and Arizona with my father. We were both blown away with it, the ambience of the Monterey area and its rich biodiversity. We both enjoyed the shorebirds along 17 Mile Drive, as well as a fabulous whale watching trip on the Pacific from the harbour. Whilst birding the shoreline, my eyes were drawn to the Pacific Grove Golf Links and in my mind, I imagined playing those coastal holes, with the fabulous views they offer to the Point Pinos Lighthouse, out over the bay and beyond to the Pacific ocean where we watched whales breaching through our binoculars. A family holiday visited here in 2018. I was compelled to show my family this magical place, where we again did similar things, although I wasn't allowed to birdwatch quite as much with a young family, but again, I set eyes on the golf course and dared to dream. Finally a second big family holiday to the west coast of the USA in 2025 where we'd all made a checklist of things we wanted to do. Kids ➡️ Las Vegas ✅ Me & my Son ➡️ Death Valley ✅ My Wife, Son & I ➡️ Yosemite ✅ Kids ➡️ Golden Gate Bridge ⏳ Next up! All of us ➡️ Monterey for Whale watching and the Aquarium✅ Me ➡️ Play Golf at Pacific Grove! 👏 We all wanted to go whale watching again and I "really" wanted to play Pacific Grove. We had a few days here so picked the best weather day to golf and a dry morning to whale watch with the unpredictable weather that July in Monterey can bring. We spent the least favourable day at the amazing aquarium! Travelling as light as we could it was always going to be renting a set of clubs and with my son also wanting to share the experience we teed off at lunchtime on a very busy course. The first nine holes here are the Egan Nine, designed by H. Chandler Egan as a figure of 8 layout which winds its way through suburban Pacific Grove and features an unusual start of two par threes, two par fours and then two par fives. It's not for the faint of heart with tight holes surrounded by residences which must have good insurance with their proximity to the course! The back 9 designed by Jack Neville in 1960 (he of Pebble Beach fame) is a completely different experience. Crossing the road by the clubhouse, you are transported to the real Golf Links at Pacific Grove with wind shaped cypress trees, sand dunes and views of the Pacific from every hole with the historic Point Pinos lighthouse gazing over the course. The holes here are fair but excellent with the wind affecting play, making many clubs worth of difference and making you think about how best to play them. The course isn't the longest out there but as an experience, it's right up there amongst the best I've played and for a municipal course, just amazing. The only disappointment was my inconsistency but now I've played here and realised a life's ambition. I'd talked about playing here with my late father and know he'll be smiling down, knowing I've now "done it" and having loved every second. For where the course is, it's good value too, certainly much cheaper than the real Pebble Beach but I'm so glad I've treated my son and I to our round here. Just brilliant!👍 Edited in Premier Pro Graphics & Shot Tracer: After Effects 👉📽🏌️♀️ / @cjsgolf https://www.playpacificgrove.com/ @pacificgrovegolflinks2021 / pacific-grove-golf-links-100047632222473 / pacificgrovegl Pacific Grove Golf Links 77 Asilomar Boulevard Pacific Grove California 93950 📞 831 648 5775 00:00 - Intro 00:15 - Hole 1 - Little Tombstone 01:38 - Hole 2 - Big Tombstone 03:10 - Hole 3 - Egan's Alley 04:22 - Hole 4 - Blind Birdie 06:12 - Hole 5 - The Finisher 08:30 - Hole 6 - Long Tom 10:12 - Hole 7 - Plateau 11:50 - Hole 8 - Dog Leg 14:03 - Hole 9 - Point Pinos 15:20 - Hole 10 - The Innkeeper 16:42 - Hole 11 - Seaward 18:17 - Hole 12 - Rocky Shores 20:44 - Hole 13 - Whaler's Watch 22:45 - Hole 14 - Seaview 24:53 - Hole 15 - Beacon View 26:45 - Hole 16 - Lighthouse 29:17 - Hole 17 - Crespi Pond 30:36 - Hole 18 - Last Chance 32:05 - Summary & Scores #golfvlog #golfvlogs #golfvlogger #golf #golfswing #golfgraphics #golfstats #golfing #irons #callaway #break90 #shottracer #golfcourse #golfer #golfvideo #golflife #allshots #montereycalifornia #golfusa #pacificgrove #pebblebeach #california #usa #golfusa Music credit "Inspired" Kevin MacLeod (incompetech.com) Licensed under Creative Commons: By Attribution 3.0 http://creativecommons.org/licenses/b...
