Fans Celebrate John Rudge’s 80th Birthday with Statue Unveiling at Vale Park, Burslem I was at Vale Park today for the unveiling of John Rudge’s 17ft statue, a fitting and powerful tribute to the legendary Port Vale manager on his 80th birthday. Fans gathered in numbers to honour Rudge, whose influence on the club and its history is unparalleled.
