The Walt Disney Gallery 1994

In 1994 The Walt Disney Gallery opened next to the existing Disney Store in the Main Place Shopping Center in Santa Ana, CA. This prototype store was designed by Disney Imagineering and exemplified all the creativeness, quality and Disney magic that the current Disney management has jettisoned as not profitable enough. I luckily had my camcorder with me when my sister-in-law took us there on a Christmastime visit and I'm so glad I did as I was able to document my happy visit to this now long-gone example of Disney Imagineering retail design and in the amazing amount of beautiful Disney animation art, collectibles, fashions and home accessories that the buyers were able to assemble. And of course, the Disney cast members were also amazing in their customer service and knowledge. Sadly, I doubt we will ever see this kind of upscale retailing from Disney ever again but at least we can enjoy the video.
