Inauguration of the HIPRA Campus

On September 18, we officially unveiled the new HIPRA Campus in Aiguaviva (Girona), projected as one of the main biotechnology hubs in Europe. Presided over by Salvador Illa, President of the Government of Catalonia, and honoured by the presence of Jordi Hereu, Spain’s Minister of Industry and Tourism, David Nogareda, President and CEO of HIPRA, and Laura Ferrer, R&D Director for Human Health at HIPRA, alongside distinguished authorities and company representatives, this event marks a turning point for innovation in our region and beyond. This ambitious project involves a planned material investment of over 500 million euros, the incorporation of around 1,000 new professionals, and the development of an area covering 114,000 square meters. The HIPRA Campus includes multiple buildings designed to host high value-added activities, from R&D laboratories to manufacturing plants equipped with state-of-the-art technology, as well as collaborative spaces, green areas, and services for our teams.
