So todays video is going to be the first of a mini series of prismacolor bleding tutorials where we go through different color blends and techniques with each other. I plan to follow this up with a different selection of colors and, if there is enough interest, some different subjects e.g: blending a cirlce, anatomy etc. This is also a great way for me to learn with you. Art is a constant learning journey and I love sharing what i've learnt with you and getting your feedback as well. Today we've covered basic blending for beginners from black through purple to white with my suggested colors of: Black PC935 Violet PC932 Process Red PC994 Lilac PC956 White PC938 The whole process is in real time so none of it is sped up. Let me know how you feel about this, it's a first entry into this series so we can change direction as we go no problem. My main tips for anyone who is a beginner with blending color pencils is to take your time, do not rush the process. A smooth blend is achieved over multiple layers of light pressure.
