With a low of 25 overnight Logan and I were pretty pumped to get back out in the MN marsh for another duck hunt, given what we had seen the day before. We ended up setting up on a tiny cattail island that would allow us to setup with the wind while also getting our decoys our in the open water that the ducks, geese, and cranes had been trafficking over the day before. The morning action wasn't quite as hot as it had been the previous day but we were able to string together a mixed bag of ducks and even had a surprise goose visitor drop from the heavens to check out our spread.
