At the end of summer, Jillian Wilson and Robbie Wilson sat down with Hugh Pascoe, the recipient of the 2025 W&A Rural Access to Justice Fellowship. A bit of history behind the interview: The W&A Scholarship Endowment was established with the Arkansas Bar Foundation in 2001 by the late Robert M. Wilson, Jr. It's currently the largest scholarship endowment managed by the AR Bar Foundation. In addition, commencing in 2019, Jennifer Wilson-Harvey initiated the designation of a portion of the annual income to a Rural Access to Justice Fellowship at the UA Little Rock William H. Bowen School of Law, in which a rising 2L student is selected to spend the summer working in a fellowship in a rural area of the state. Rural access to justice is a significant issue in the state of Arkansas. Many programs have been initiated to bring awareness to the issue, and to help law students and lawyers interested in getting more involved with the various initiatives and needs of the communities across the state. We are proud to help support these efforts, and look forward to a continued partnership with the Arkansas Bar Foundation and William H. Bowen School of Law to help enhance access to justice for all Arkansans. Interview location: University of Arkansas William H. Bowen School of Law Interview date: August 28, 2025
