25,000 Steps on a Sacred Mountain Made me Emotional (Adam's Peak) 🇱🇰

Sri Pada or Adam's Peak is a religious site in Sri Lanka. To reach the peak it takes 12,500 steep steps up (and back down) if you approach from Ratnapura. Thousands of Buddhists climb this peak daily to pray at the Sri Pada temple. While on my way up (and back) I saw people of all ages, from kids to 85 year olds. Some take a few days to reach and others do it in one day, like I did. ___________________________________________________ With my Youtube videos I aim to show a different perspective than what most travel vloggers would do by interacting with people and really getting the local insights of the places I visit. No matter their social background I treat everyone equal.
