Allow us to introduce: Elevator music In 2019 we started renovating the new space in Jægergårdsgade, Aarhus. Back then we found an old elevator that had been bricked for several years. We think it had so much mojo, but no idea what to use it for. But now we know! The series is called Elevatormusik (Elevator Music) and the concept is simple; Introduce some of the amazing artists who comes by Akustikken - with a basic setup, live from the elevator. Consisting of six musicians, "Sidste Udkald" met on the hilly peninsulas of Mols. Together they create a music that unites Danish songwriting and American genres such as country, blues and folk in a sound that could be called ‘Mols Roots’. On a cold january morning filled our elevator to the brim. Enjoy a moment of excellent Danish music.
