Now this is a real rarity from 1994! Not only in regards to the (real) Techno legend DC and the year, but also in combination with the location it was recorded at. No copyright infringement is intended! This is to preserve and support nearly forgotten music and artists. Unfortunately this is another unsufficiently labeled cassette and the original flyer showing the exact date is still missing :( ...but a helpful Thorsten wrote that it's been October 14th Yes, in 1994 a lot of "unusual" guests were made possible. Even though it sometimes was trial and error and more of an error (in regards to the evening) in the end in this case. Just a few years later his dj sets sets fortunately made more sense and he probably only played at locations that actually fit him and where nobody had to ask him several times to lower the volume to avoid damage to the loudspeakers, which started to glow (for real) in certain moments. Strangely even the „Voilà/EFX Club“, which was not known for Techno really much, booked him just a couple of months later. With the same result as far as I was told. Anyway, his track „Wisdom to the wise“ (aka „Red 2“) without a doubt was one of the most often played Techno tracks in 1994/1995 when it came to Techno (and sometimes even House) clubs and raves. So probably the majority of people somehow knew this track from somewhere without even knowing the title and artist. Props to Mr. Clarke for his achievements throughout more than three decades! P.S.: The drawing (from mid/late 80s) is just a placeholder and not showing Dave Clarke. It's only a random guy with a beard, so please... Don't forget: Those were the times of pure vinyl mixing, without „cue points“ or „sync buttons“, no need for an „awareness team“, no concrete bollards around christmas markets (which were called just t h a t) and block parties and without a lot of other crap we have to deal with now... Welcome! Respect to all original producers, djs, labels, mcs and dancers from those days (and nights)! Old school forever. S.I.O.E. WSWI
