Good morning! We’re kicking off a warming and drying trend today that’s going to stick with us through the rest of the week. High pressure is building over the region, bringing plenty of sunshine, light winds, and temperatures climbing above normal for late October. For the Reno-Tahoe area, expect highs starting in the 60s early this week, then warming into the low 70s by Friday across western Nevada and the mid to upper 60s around Lake Tahoe. Nights will stay cool and clear, and with those calm conditions, we could see some patchy fog forming in the Martis and Sierra valleys. Looking ahead into the start of November, the quiet weather continues — dry, mild, and stable — with only a very slight chance of a weak system brushing by to our north.
