On June 1st, 2024, the Sacramento Regional Transit District agency and Siemens Mobility were hosting a tour at the 13th Street Station in Sacramento, California for their brand new S700 low-floor light rail vehicles that will be entering service this summer. For quite sometime now, I've been eager to get an observation on these new units coming and I was glad to attend this special gathering. In this video we take a tour inside two of the first units being 402 and 403, and look at some of the new features they have to offer. There was a bus bridge this day where the light rail system would partially closed during the party, but this tour didn't stop me from having fun! Enjoy! Thanks for watching!
