Nottingham killer sentenced: Valdo Calocane's attack captured on CCTV

Newly released CCTV footage shows timeline of the movements of Valdo Calocane. Calocane stabbed three people to death during a knife rampage has been told by a judge he will be detained in a high-security hospital very “likely for the rest of your life”. Valdo Calocane, 32, killed Nottingham University students Grace O’Malley-Kumar and Barnaby Webber, both 19, and a school caretaker, Ian Coates, 65, on June 13 last year. He stole Coates’s van and tried to kill three more people by running them down in the city centre. At his sentencing hearing Mr Justice Turner said: “You committed a series of atrocities in this city, which ended the lives of three innocent people. You went on to attack three more, fully intending to kill them too."
