The Stronga Heatex series of thermally efficient drying air control modules work alongside Stronga Drying Stations to reduce the moisture content of wet materials by forcing ambient air through a highly specified plug fan and a heat exchanger to reach a drying temperature. Heatex air handling units are individually configured to optimise drying performance via optimal air temperature, airflow and air pressure from the energy available. Discover the features and benefits, inner workings and airflow concept of the Heatex range. Discover the Heatex airflow concept in the 3D animation: 1. Cold ambient air is evenly drawn through a large aluminium air louvre into 1st cold air chamber by a single direct drive plug fan. An electro-statically charged multi-mesh air purifying filter is fixed to the anti-corrosion air louvre to reduce the risk of damaging the highly specified plug fan. 2. Ambient air is dispersed by the plug fan in the central chamber, passing evenly through the deep core heat exchanger where it is heated to a drying quality temperature as it passes from fin to fin. 3. Warm drying quality air fills the hot plenum before exiting via multiple adjustable output ducts (FlowDrya and/or Drying Station). The ample sized warm air chamber gives the user the flexible to direct drying quality air in any direction to suit unique site requirements. Features and benefits of the Heatex air handling unit: 1. Energy efficient, super-silent direct drive plug fan with market-leading blade design is easy to maintain, offering long life reliability with no belts, chains or sprockets. Plug fans offer an excellent working back pressure to dry a wide range of materials. Heatex plug fans come fitted with an inverter to provide a soft start, reducing component stress and electricity usage. 2. Highly energy efficient air handling unit uniformly heats ambient air as it passes through the deep core fins to meet the drying temperature. Customers enjoy easy heat exchanger maintenance access via the large fan chamber door which is fully rubber sealed. 3. Heatex delivers full control over drying performance via the external smart control panel which features manual and automatic settings and visual display of set parameters. 4. Heatex operators benefit from duality of visual control with analogue and digital displays. It is vitally important that the user is fully informed about drying air parameters at all times. 5. Heatex is designed for the demanding CHP market with reliable operation for over 8000 hours/year. Unlike single-purpose seasonal machines like grain dryers which work for 100s of hours/year, Heatex is built to work day-in, day-out, potentially operating up to 160,000 hours over a 20 yr. period. 6. Output airflow ports with easily adjustable manual dampers to FlowDrya and/or Drying Stations. 7. Large scale aluminium air louvre with electro-statically charged multi-mesh air purifying filter. Easy clean, long life and low cost of ownership. 8. Fully insulated water flow and return pipes. 9. Stalk-mounted Andon instant visual status indicator – visible from 360˚. The Heatex series of energy efficient air handling units come in a range of different sizes from 100kW up to 2mW. Heatex can be configured to suit the requirements of the site. If necessary, customers can stack multiple Heatex units using lifting points to make efficient use of yard space. Visit Stronga on Facebook: / strongaworldwide Follow Stronga on Twitter: / strongaltd
