Family European Adventure 🇲🇪 [Ostrog Monastery and Podgorica, Montenegro]

We're back on the road, and on this family European adventure, we're exploring some very beautiful and unexpected European architecture. We've been in the snowy Zabljak for the past week, and now we are headed to the capital city of Podgorica. Before we make it to the capital, though, we have ourselves and adventure and travel up the side of a mountain to a 17th century cliffside monastery called Ostrog. It's a fun time, especially now that we can look back at that drive from the comfort of a couch! Getting up there is easier said than done, lol. After we explore Ostrog, we travel to Podgorica and see some of the sites, including the beautiful King's Park, some Roman ruins (definitely unexpected), and the breathtaking Cathedral of the Resurrection of Christ. The cathedral is new, but it harkens back to a time when European architecture was much different. Who knew that Montenegro had such a wide range of things to see?!
