Kailash in Tibet, Adi Kailash in Uttarakhand, Kinnaur Kailash, Manimahesh Kailash and Shrikhand Kailash are in Himachal Pradesh.Thousands of Shiva devotees travel to these Kailash peaks in hopes of receiving Bhole Baba's blessings. It is said that the Panch Kailash Yatra offers happiness, salvation, and spiritual release. Since these Panch Kailash are believed to be the five abodes of Lord Shiva it is said where there is Kailash there is Gauri kund which is also the bathing Kund of Mata Parvati signifying the togetherness of Lord Shiva and Mata Parvati. Manimahesh Yatra starts from Hadsar and ends at Manimahesh via Dancho which is situated at an altitude of 2280 m above sea level. Manimahesh trek takes you to the Pir Panjal ranges in Himachal Pradesh. Manimahesh lake is a popular Hindu pilgrimage site that is dedicated to Lord Shiva and it is believed that the mighty peak is the abode of the Hindu deity. This sacred trail undertaken by thousands of pilgrims from all over India on the day of the popular Hindu festival that is Janamshtami and ends on Radha Asthami.
