Demo original - The Slip

This song was written and produced by myself in the context of a project named (Sic) in 2012. I unfortunately never dared to let anyone listen to these demos as they were very rough. I now feel ready to share them. I wrote this song using a kalimba while traveling through South America, the first recording was done using a Zoom H4. The audio quality was great, but the feel of the recording was more raw. I used a softer voice with a much more melancholic feel, and I loved it. Unfortunately I lost the original audio. I used to hate my voice on this version. But now that I'm older with a less round voice, I do feel nostalgic of this strength and I see its beauty. I do hope I might one day record a softer version with Axel. We hope you enjoy it !
