During the AdventureNEXT Conference I joined Corazón de Xoconostle on their "4 Cardinal Points of San Luis Potosí" Tour, a six day adventure during which we explored the state of San Luis Potosí in central Mexico. From the desert plateau we took a hike from San Antonio de Coronados and a drive in a Willies Truck to Real de Catorce, then we continue to the Media Luna lake and go diving in it's crystal clear blue waters. Paddling up the the Tamul Waterfall is a refreshing adventure on a hot day, and the rappel into the 180 m deep Sótano de las Huahuas cave is one of the scariest experiences of my life. A visit to "El Castillo de la Salud de Beto Ramon" in the lush jungle and plenty of great Mexican food round out this trip.
