After breaking his leg in two places four years ago while at a skatepark with four kids it was recommended to get the metal rod and four screws placed in the broken leg removed with a new surgery. We met with a new doctor and got a second opinion. This was the original surgeon who performed the original surgery to place the metal rod in the broken bone and secure it with the four screws. He has a different and new surgery recommendation.
