Zakopane and the hike to Morskie Oko | Poland Travel Vlog

Tucked away on the southern border of Poland, just two hours from Krakow, is the beautiful ski town of Zakopane. It is a well kept secret, full of Polish tourists, but not a huge destinations for many other tourists. But it turned out to be one of my favorite stops on my trip through Poland and quite possibly one of my best mountain experiences of all time. I showed up and the weather was terrible and the forecast even worse. Yet, by sunset, the clouds started to settle and revealed epic snow covered peaks. I started with a hike up to Morskie Oko, the most beautiful alpine Lake I have ever seen. Then I hiked over the mountains into a snow covered valley unlike anything on this planet. These were some of my best hiking days in Zakopane. I hope you enjoy the trip!
