Sosúa is known for its beautiful bay, calm waters, and rich history, especially its Jewish heritage. It’s a bit more developed, with a lively nightlife scene and a mix of expats and locals. Cabarete, on the other hand, is famous for its water sports, especially kiteboarding and windsurfing, thanks to consistent winds and a laid-back, youthful atmosphere.
