Grab a rifle and go scavenging solo, or watch each other’s backs in co-op for up to four players. Live off the land! Scavenge the ruins of the old world for survival resources. Or retreat to the hills, build a farm, hunt game, and fish — all while avoiding the shambling remnants of humanity. Deep character customization! Create your survivor by customizing perks and stats, and choose from a huge arsenal of firearms and other tools. Crafting and building for survival! Use an advanced crafting and building system to make everything you need — from gear to consumables. Build a safe shelter, fortify your base against the zeds, or turn a burned-out house into a new home. Defend yourself against truly dangerous zombies! Not all zeds are slow and dumb. Adapt and improvise as you fight many different types of zeds — or you might end up as food for the dead. Want an even bigger challenge? Test yourself in permadeath mode… if you dare.
