Björgvin Karl Guðmundsson starts to rally, as well. “I’ve been feeling like shit for the last 10 days,” Guðmundsson admits. But even after banking two top-five finishes on Day 2, he’s far from certain to take one of Europe’s five qualifying positions. Kristin Holte of Norway also has an impressive Day 2 and admires the high level of athleticism among her fellow competitors. “I think being in this region is the best thing that an athlete can do because you get pushed in every workout.
