Our Coriolis Mass Flow Meter uses the principle of the Coriolis effect to measure the flow of liquids or gases. As the medium flows through the pipe, the oscillation of the pipe causes a deformation according to the Coriolis forces. This is because the particles in the medium are subject to inertial forces as the pipe moves. Sensors measure the phase shift of the pipe. This difference in vibration is measured and converted into a flow rate. The accuracy of Rheonik's Coriolis mass flow meters is very high because it is independent of the density, viscosity, pressure and temperature of the medium and can therefore be used in many industrial applications for accurate measurement of liquids and gases. Due to the unique and patented Omega design of the loops, Rheonik meters can accurately measure extremely high pressures and temperatures, as well as the smallest molecules such as hydrogen.
