A recent performance demonstration at the YORK chiller factory in Nantes, France showcased how the YZ chiller can take advantage of low entering condenser water temperatures to reduce energy usage. The video provides an explanation of the YORK YZ magnetic bearing chiller’s operating envelope. Then a summary is presented of some of the technology choices of the chiller design that allows it to achieve low entering condenser water temperatures.
