Hi, thanks for watching our video about How to Calculate Reheat Requirements in HVAC Systems | Sensible Heat Ratio and Apparatus Dew Point Explained with Dan Molloy, PE! Want to join Office Hours? Sign up for the Full Access Bundle and join our live biweekly study group to get all your mechanical engineering technical questions answered! Support my work and free PE resources: https://www.mechanicalpeexamprep.com/... This clip is from HVAC & Refrigeration Office Hours for the PE Exam with Dan Molloy, PE. where we cover the sensible heat ratio, theoretical direction of the cooling process line and reheat process. We break down the process of calculating reheat required for an air conditioning system in a room maintained at specific temperature and humidity conditions. The video explains how to determine the discharge air temperature, intersection points, and sensible heat ratio, as well as how reheat is applied to meet room conditions. Using 10,000 CFM to satisfy the load, we show how to calculate the necessary reheat to maintain desired conditions. We also walk through the importance of understanding the apparatus dew point (ADP) and how to properly apply the reheat process on the cooling curve.
