Meet the Volkswagen ID. CROSS Concept | World Premiere at IAA

The future of affordable electric mobility takes shape: at the IAA 2025 in Munich, Volkswagen presents the ID. CROSS Concept for the very first time. The ID. CROSS Concept is all about rethinking small. As a compact SUV in the T-CROSS class, it combines affordability, charisma, and 100% Volkswagen DNA. Unforgettable Look: Its design follows the new “Pure Positive” language: clear, authentic, timeless, and likeable. From the new Volkswagen Face, the flying roof to the 3D light signature and iconic C-pillar, every detail clearly indicates: Designed by Volkswagen. Under the Hood: The ID. CROSS Concept is based on Volkswagen’s MEB platform – now evolving into the next stage with MEB+. With its newly developed front-wheel drive system, the compact SUV delivers 155 kW (211 PS). The WLTP range forecast is up to 420 km. Big space, small dimensions: The five-seater SUV has a roomy interior with 475 litres of boot space. And for the charging cable there is a frunk under the hood. Compact outside, versatile inside – perfect for city life and longer trips alike. Interior oasis: Outstanding material quality and feel, lounge-style seats, and pre-set light, sound, and climate modes create a relaxing interior. Seats fold fully for a reclining VW Bus-style experience, while plant motifs add a touch of nature. Part of the growing ID. Family: The ID. CROSS Concept will be launched on the market in 2026.
