Castella sponge cake: the very soft and flavored Japanese sponge cake!

Super moist, bouncy and soft. This cake is super easy to make at home! You will love the texture!   INGREDIENTS 6 egg yolks 70ml (1/3 cup) sunflower oil 60ml (1/4 cup) milk A pinch of salt 6 egg whites 90g (3/4 cup) flour 60g (1/4 cup) sugar orange aroma to taste   METHOD Preheat the oven to 150C/300F. In a large bowl whisk egg yolks with a pinch of salt. Add oil and whisk again. Pour in milk and whisk to combine. Stir in orange aroma and flour, and set aside. In another bowl beat egg whites with sugar until stiff peaks form. Gradually stir egg whites into egg yolks mixture. Pour obtained batter into a bread loaf pan lined with parchment paper. Take a big baking pan, place a baking grid or rack on top and fill the pan with hot water.
