For more on this and other news around the world, we have Choi Jeong-yoon at the news center. Jeong-yoon, walk us through what's happening in Myanmar. Mokyeon, protesters in Myanmar continue to rally for an end to military rule and the release of ousted civilian leader Aung San Suu Kyi. But over the weekend, the scenes have become more violent. During Monday's demonstrations in the city of Mandalay, security forces opened fire on protesters. It's still not clear whether the bullets used were rubber or live ammunition. Videos shared on Twitter showed the military firing into crowds to disperse them, with many people seen ducking behind cars. The military have not commented on the matter. The number of casualties is not clear, but Reuters,... quoting local media,... reported that some people were wounded. According to another media outlet AP, soldiers arrived in with at least ten armored trucks and hit protestors with slingshots. Since Sunday, armoured vehicles have been deployed in Yangon, Myitkyina and Sittwe in the west the first large-scale use of such vehicles since the coup began. Military police have also been accused of attacking citizens with batons.
