The Landcruiser 70 Series V8 has a 95mm wider front wheel track than the rear. This track difference is not an issue when driving on hard surfaced roads but it does create serious problems when driving over soft or slippery ground. The rear wheels are continually trying to follow the front track, but are unable to do so because the front wheels are in a different plane, and are constantly veering in their attempt to fall into the path made by the front wheels. Multidrive Technology has engineered a unique, patented and fully ADR Approved solution called the “Tru Tracker” to equalise the track widths and significantly improve the handling of the vehicle in these conditions.
